Instructions

Logging Litter

1. Enter your postcode – this isn’t stored anywhere, it’s just so we know you’re in the right area.
2. Get your bearings – we don’t use any kind of location tracking to respect your privacy, but this means we can’t tell you where you are! Use the Satellite/Street View toggle in the top-left to find where you are.
3. Log the litter – if you spot some litter, click on it’s location on the map. You can then tell us what it is, and exactly where it is.

Cleaning Litter

1. Enter your postcode – this isn’t stored anywhere, it’s just so we know you’re in the right area.
2. Get your bearings – we don’t use any kind of location tracking to respect your privacy, but this means we can’t tell you where you are! Use the Satellite/Street View toggle in the top-left to find where you are.
3. Finding the logged litter – click on a red pin to find out what the litter is and where you can find it
4. Clean me up Scotty! – once the litter is cleaned, click ‘Mark as Cleaned’ and you’ll see the red cross turn into a green tick. Great work!

Please note, this app is currently only available in the West Vale estate area of Oldham. Please get in touch if you would like to roll this out in your own local area.
