We’re a collective of digital folk from across the South Pennines passionate about promoting our brilliant people and places. Importantly, we’ve all had direct experience of working with communities and community groups in a variety of weird and wonderful ways.
So think Web Developers, User Experience experts, Digital Trainers, Bid Writers and Digital Social Innovators that can talk your language!
South Pennines Digital Towns is a social enterprise and is currently in the application process to become a CIC.
Karys Moffat
Web Development & Calderdale Champion
Karys is also the Support Manager at Reason Digital in Manchester so supports a wide range of UK charities, coops and social enterprises with their digital platforms.
Alongside this, Karys has supported a number of community groups and organisations in Calderdale to get online. Karys has been involved directly in the support and development of young people’s events and programmes in Calderdale and Kirklees.
Also a big fan of open mic nights, music festivals and guitar player in West Yorkshire’s finest tragi-comic acoustic duo.
Christian Shannon
User Experience Designer & Kirklees Champion
Christian is also the Senior User Experience Designer at Reason Digital in Manchester.
Christian has worked with community groups and businesses from all around the South Pennines but has a particular focus in and around the Marsden and Colne Valley area.
