Nields Academy Community Garden
Nields Community Garden: a flourishing online space for a thriving community project. We partnered with this inspiring organization to create a vibrant new brand identity and a user-friendly website that reflects their passion for nature, education, and community 🌳
We were so inspired by the story of Nields Community Garden! A project born from the desire to create an outdoor space for pupils to get their hands dirty, learn about nature, and cultivate a love for our planet. We wanted to build a brand and website that would capture this wonderful spirit.
Our journey began with getting to know the heart of the project. We learned about their vision to teach children the joys of nature through hands-on experience, from digging for worms to planting their own trees. We were moved by their commitment to sustainability, using wormeries and composters to turn food waste into nourishing soil.
The brand
With this understanding, we set out to create a brand that was:
- Friendly and inviting: To reflect the welcoming nature of the community garden.
- Earthy and organic: To connect with the themes of nature and gardening.
- Hopeful and inspiring: To convey the positive impact of the project on children and the environment.
The brand came to life through a carefully chosen color palette, typography, and logo design that captured the essence of Nields Community Garden.
The website
The new website is the online hub for the garden. We designed it to be:
- Easy to navigate: So that visitors can quickly find the information they need, whether they are looking to volunteer, donate, or simply learn more about the project.
- Visually engaging: With beautiful imagery that showcases the garden and the children enjoying the space.
- Impactful: Telling the story of the garden in a compelling way that inspires people to get involved.
The website features clear calls to action, making it easy for people to support the project. It also provides a platform for the garden to share updates, post photos, and celebrate their achievements.
