Who is this for?

Aims to reduce loneliness and isolation, improve physical and mental wellbeing, help maintain independence and a quality of life for older people (over 60). In recent years the work supported has been both in care facilities and in the community and recognises issues in both rural and urban areas. Projects funded include advice and information, advocacy, befriending, community transport, exercise classes, intergenerational schemes, lunch/social clubs, a range of arts and crafts, and projects around the abuse of older people. Keen to support projects that seek to develop community initiatives that offer sustainable, long term support for older people in communities.
