A South Pennines Digital Skills Collective – Where?

We’re a digital skills collective distributed throughout the South Pennines including parts of West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire. We have a wide ranging set of skills touching on many different forms of digital and technology. Our definition of the South Pennines also covers Pennine Gateway towns.

Grassroots Community Experience

Most importantly, people in our collective cherish the unique nature of South Pennines and the communities that we seek to support. We have local champions for each of the areas we are working in that have grassroots working knowledge of those towns and communities.

People in the collective will have had experience of community development, organising or activism either in a voluntary or paid capacity and will be dedicated to amplifying local and regional voices.

The South Pennines takes in parts of Bradford, Calderdale, Craven and Kirklees in Yorkshire and Burnley, Pendle, and Rossendale in Lancashire and Oldham and Rochdale in Greater Manchester. Its moorland core is designated the South Pennines Heritage Area.
